We celebrated our 100th day of school on Monday, February 9th. We had an awesome day with many different activities. We started the day off by coming to school dressed in 100 items and then got together with our grade six buddies to participate in our 100th Day stations. Our stations included: building a structure with 100 red solo cups, trying to eat a popsicle with 100 licks, aging ourselves 100 years with the AgingBooth app, making a snack with 100 snack foods, and writing in our 100th Day booklets. In the afternoon, we inflated 100 balloons and played games with 100. We all agreed that the 100th day was awesome! Check out our slideshow below.

During our Daily 5 time, we have been doing a lot of "Read to Someone". We have learned that there are different ways to read to someone. You can take turns reading the same book, read to each other from different books, etc.

Santa came to visit us on the morning of our last day of classes before the Christmas holidays. Everyone got a chance to talk to Santa to tell him what they wanted for Christmas and he gave each person a treat bag. That afternoon, we got to have our marble party and enjoy lots of yummy (and healthy) snacks. Thanks to the Alspach, Zaretski, Klus, and Tataryn families! We also had to say a tearful farewell to Miss Maguire. She has promised to come back to visit whenever possible in the new year. Have a super holiday everyone!
